The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for our ear beginning 4/3/2019. Due to high winds and very dry air, the potential for brush fires and rapid fire spread is high. As such, Weisenberg and Lowhill townships are instituting a burn ban effective until 4/5/2019.

Early Morning Truck Fire on I-78
Around 2:00am on 5/30, Station 51 and Berks county station 46 were dispatched for a truck fire on I-78 west. 5101 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. 51 crews arrived shortly after and deployed an attack line with foam to extinguish the fire. 2018 Easter Egg Hunt
The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department held their first ever Easter Egg Hunt on 3/25/2018. Supporters and firefighters set up the hunt in the Weisenberg Elementary School parking lot.
