In recent weeks, fundraising solicitations and requests for volunteer firefighters have been showing up all over PA. They are from a group called Volunteer Firefighter Alliance from Topeka, Kansas. This is a scam and does not benefit our, or any local, fire department. We send out our fund drive once per year, and it comes directly from the department.
