On the afternoon of Christmas Eve, Stations 51, 8, 17, and 62 were dispatched to a car fire with exposure. Chief 5101 arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. Shortly thereafter, Engine 5111 was on scene and quickly knocked down the fire. Crews performed overhaul and were released shortly after.
At approximately 10:40am on 12/15/17, Station 51 was dispatched to a 2nd alarm commercial structure fire in Lynn Township. Stations 17 and 10 from Lehigh County, along with Berks units responded as well. Truck 5131 and Tanker 5121 responded with crews to assist with fire attack and water supply. On 11/21/2017 in the afternoon, Stations 51, 8, 56, and 62 were dispatched to I-78 Eastbound for a reported Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) with Rollover & Rescue. 5101 arrived on scene and reported negative rescue. Station 62 transported one patient to the hospital while the remaining stations provided spill and traffic control.
At 11:02pm on 10/15/2017, Station 51 was dispatched to Interstate 78 westbound for a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) with multiple patients. 5101 established command and had Engine 5111 and Command 5192 close a lane and provide traffic control while Station 62 (Cetronia) handled patient care.
