Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department Celebrates 20 Years of Service – Community Invited to Milestone Anniversary Event
Free, family-friendly celebration coincides with Weisenberg Township Community Center grand opening and car show.
WEISENBERG TOWNSHIP, PA – The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD), Lehigh County Station 51, will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the fire station, located at 2500 Golden Key Road, Kutztown, PA. The event is free and open to the public, rain or shine.
The anniversary celebration is part of a larger community day in Weisenberg Township, which also includes the grand opening of the new Weisenberg Township Community Center and a car show. Shuttle transportation will run between all three events throughout the day, allowing attendees to move freely between locations.
Festivities at the fire station will include:
- Free food and drinks
- Live vehicle rescue demonstration (time TBD)
- Free hands-only CPR training
- Fire extinguisher simulator
- Station and apparatus tours
- Remarks from State Representative Gary Day and WVFD leadership (12:00 PM)
Joining WVFD on site will be the Pennsylvania State Police, Cetronia Ambulance Corps, and the Lehigh County Emergency Management Agency.
Founded in 2006, WVFD has served Weisenberg Township and the surrounding region for two decades under the motto “Our Family Protecting Your Family.” The department invites all residents and surrounding community members to join in celebrating this milestone and to learn more about the volunteers who protect their community.
