The Weisenberg Volunteer Fire Department is excited to announce that we have partnered with the Rosenbauer Group and Horrocks Fire and Rescue Apparatus to build a new pumper tanker.

The image is a CAD drawing of a new fire apparatus designed by Rosenbauer Group of America.

The pumper tanker will be built by Rosenbauer America at their South Dakota facility.

The new 3,000 gallon pumper tanker is expected to be placed into service by the end of 2021. It will replace our existing 1977 Kenworth/KME tanker, which has served our community since our department was formed.

We would like to thank the members of the 5121 truck committee that spent nearly a year planning, preparing specs, and working with multiple manufacturers in order to find the best piece of apparatus to serve the needs of our community for the next 20+ years.

We would also like to thank the Weisenberg Township Board of Supervisors and the community that we serve for their continued support.
